As a Health Developer, you act as a qualified support to unit managers and employees in matters concerning work environment, health, and working methods. The role combines close, operational work within the operations with a strategic development perspective.

About Us

Our activities within social psychiatry are directed towards adults with mental disabilities and include housing with special services according to the Social Services Act (SoL), housing support, and employment. Here, approximately 100 employees work to provide support based on the individual's needs and wishes, to enable as independent a life as possible. Our work is permeated by a value base where care, quality of life, development, and a sense of coherence are in focus.

Your Assignment

In the role of Health Developer, you will among other things:

• act as operational support in preventive and promoting health work
• map needs, identify risk factors, and analyze operational data
• plan, implement, follow up, and evaluate interventions
• mentor, educate, participate in workplace meetings, and plan and conduct development days
• implement evidence-based methods and working methods
• promote good communication, collaboration, and coordination in the operations
• contribute to developing sustainable health and good working conditions

The role involves working throughout social psychiatry and operating on several levels – organization, operations, and individual. You work on behalf of the three unit managers in social psychiatry and represent management in daily work, without formal personnel responsibility. Since the role is new, tasks may develop and change over time.

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, full-time (40 hours per week). Some evening and weekend work may occur depending on operational needs.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a university degree of at least 180 credits in health sciences or another education that the employer considers equivalent. You have experience working in care or social work and are accustomed to leading/supporting/guiding both individuals and groups. You have good digital competence and feel confident working in various IT systems. A B-driver's license is meritorious.

To succeed in the assignment, you have good leadership skills and create clarity and structure in your work. Through your communicative and sensitive approach, you contribute to security and build trusting relationships. You have a natural ability to support and guide employees in different situations and see the value in well-functioning teams, where you actively contribute to an open and respectful collaborative climate.

You are solution-focused, take responsibility for your assignment, and have the ability to prioritize in a varied daily life. At the same time, you are driven by developing both operations and individuals, with a clear focus on health and quality of life.
